A Bit About Me
James’ consulting focus has been on introducing healthcare providers to the process of hiring international nurses and forging strategic workforce partnerships between innovative international nurse recruiters and healthcare associations and providers. These collaborations aim to provide innovative staffing solutions to the nursing shortage crisis by ethically sourcing international registered nurses and facilitating their transition to secure employment.
Before devoting himself to social entrepreneurship healthcare solutions, as a government and nonprofit leader/attorney, James served for ten years in a variety of executive nonprofit leadership and federal government roles. This includes serving three years as Ex. Dir. of Catholic Charities of South Carolina managing long-term care facilities, and as Majority Counsel on the International Relations and Education and Workforce Committees in the U.S. House of Representatives. He has a law degree from the U. of Pittsburgh School of Law and is also a Doctor of Health Administration candidate at the Medical University of South Carolina, where
his dissertation focuses on the nursing shortage and innovative, international staffing solutions.
